I’ve served as a Certified Financial Planner ™ since 1994, helped establish several financial services firms in the area, and have been offering financial planning advice to Rochesterians since 1987. Along with my Certification as a Financial Planner, I have a Certification as a College Planning Specialist ™ and a Certified Divorce Financial Planning Analyst ™. I’ve managed investment advisors who in turn, managed over $1 billion. I’ve been a member of The Strategic Coach Program ™ for over 15 years. I’ve taught college-level courses on financial planning and investment strategy and am often featured as a financial planning expert by the local and financial trade press. Through it all, I’ve learned what’s most important is quite simply the person or couple I’m sitting with at the table. If we don’t see the whole person, if we don’t listen and really hear what they’re saying, all of the experience in the world doesn’t really mean much.
I believe you can reach any important destination if you strategically plan each step to get there. Literally and figuratively! Whether I’m mapping out a plan to climb a high peak in the Adirondacks, a 1000-mile trip on my adventure motorcycle or a detailed financial plan, I understand that each step is as important as the next. By focusing on each step, you can rise above the distractions and reach your destination.
As the father to three sons and coaching youth sports for close to 20 years you can believe that I’ve learned as much from those young men as I like to think I’ve taught them. I think that’s the way it should work: we’re all always learning from and teaching one another.
My financial planning and investment management practice centers around you as an individual, helping you find solutions to your most pressing financial issues. I specialize in providing personalized strategic solutions while walking every step of the journey with you. We're in this together!

Establishing and growing my amazing family with my wife Jessica.
In my spare time, in addition to spending as much time as possible with my wife and kids, I thoroughly enjoy competitive golf and jet skiing on the lake to relax. One fun fact about me is my grandfather once caught a Babe Ruth homerun baseball while docked in NYC during his time in the NAVY - I have the ball along with an authentication article detailing the story.

I was born and raised here. I grew up in Greece and now live in Irondequoit with my wife, Mariah and our beloved French bulldog Gus. As far as I’m concerned, this is the place to be.
An older couple came to us. The husband had severe dementia and was unable to make decisions. In the discovery process, we realized there were no estate documents, power of attorney or health care proxies. We quickly got attorneys involved and worked hand in hand to finalize the documents just as the husband became terminally ill. By being proactive, we were able to protect a huge portion of the couple’s estate.
It’s important because it shows we’re listening and that we truly want to go beyond finances to connect with you as a person. To me, that connection is what a shared path is all about.
I think it’s important to transform the notion of transactions in our client relationships. Of course, the business and financial aspect of what we do is huge—and that includes net worth, estate planning, taxes, etc. But we can uncover better planning strategies when we take the time to listen and really get to know your personal story, rather than trying to fit you into a product or service or plan that we’ve already created.
I started in the advisory space eight years ago and worked my way from the ground up. This helped me realize the importance of client relationships and working together. My proudest moments are when clients and the team appreciate the fact that I get done exactly what I say I’m going to do.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from SUNY Oswego.
I grew in the Finger Lakes and Cayuga Lake is one of my favorite places to be. There is nothing like waking up and looking out over the water to give you a clearer perspective. Whether it be any of the lakes I have lived on – Lake Erie, Lake Ontario and Cayuga Lake, being on the water with my husband Edward is my happy place.
